I chose a company instead of a non-profit organization because funding the cause of environment protection via commerce opens up a whole spectrum of alternatives not available to donation-funded organizations.

I created Certified Coolness in the middle of a financial crisis that was mainly caused by lack of accountability. The public has the right to know who runs the company and who is responsible for the decisions.
